Procession, 2012
This is a piece built on-site at Parson's Hall Project Space in Holyoke, MA during Oct 2012. A ceremonial carriage, float, casket, cake ... made from liquid-foundation coated styrofoam packaging, and facial tissue carnations on a PVC pipe gurney structure. Floor is littered with cellular forms and other carnage comprised of 6-pack holsters, red felt, cupcake liners, curled ribbonplastic lace and a cut-up blue beaded dress. The main "compartment" of the carriage holds bundles of bones covered in absorbent cosmetic pads.
