Momentous Obscelescence
Most recent configuration of what was once 2 separate pieces. Here, an upholstered form lined with my de-constructed prom dress (green sequins) and a membrane made from off-white nylon stockings filled with hand-sewn and embroidered oversized stylized seed forms, is host to a rhinestone studded parasite emerging from its nest in a gertled, fur-lined hollow at the base of the form. This ridiculous decorative egg/fruit form lurches forward from a base that is made of a tangled bedspring upholstered in the remnants of a pink satin bridesmaid's dress covered by a hoop-skirt form and donning my mother's baby blue homecoming dress.
